LEAVING CERTIFICATE VOCATIONAL PROGRAMME.

Requirements for the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme which is of two years duration are as follows:

 L.C.V.P. students must take a minimum of five Leaving Certificate subjects (at Higher, Ordinary or Foundation level) including Irish and ONE other Modern European Language.

 Two of the subjects must be selected from one of the designated Vocational Subject Groupings.


Vocational Subject Groupings

SPECALIST GROUPINGS

  1. Accounting or Business or Economics (any two).
  2. Physics with Chemistry.
  3. Biology with Chemistry or Physics.

SERVICE GROUPINGS

  1. Art with Business or Accounting or Economics.
  2. Music with Business or Accounting or Economics.

 They must study the two Link Modules, namely

• Preparation for the World of Work.
• Enterprise Education.
