At the start of a new school year I, on behalf of the Student Council would like to take this opportunity to wish all Students, Staff and Parents of St. Paul’s College a happy and successful year and I would like to wish our exam years every success in their Leaving and Junior Certificates.

This year the Student’s Council is continuing in its work within the College and we have already held a meeting with the Parent’s Association and hope to meet with Board of Management later in the year.

This year sees the return of the mentoring system for first years. This is a very important part of the first year team and support and we are very grateful to all those who have worked with us to  bring it back.

We are grateful for the works, which are now on going on the school labs. These should be open after the October Mid Term.

We are also continuing to work with Fr. John Gallagher C.M. to fundraise to send students to Ethiopia.

Our sports subcommittee has succeeded in getting funding for new soccer jerseys for our school teams.
