ELEARNING UPDATE: 19th March 2020

3rd and 6th Year emails.

When it was announced that the school was closing, we attempted to gather email addresses from 3rd and 6th year students so as teachers could have the option of delivering online content through the Microsoft Teams app. However, we did not realise that Teams would only allow students to join groups if they had an email address that ended in @stpaulscollege.ie

We have now created profiles for all 3rd and 6th year students so as they can access Microsoft Teams. This profile is the student’s surname, followed by first name @student.stpaulscollege.ie

e.g Joe Bloggs would be bloggsjoe@student.stpaulscollege.ie

Below are a set of instructions for accessing these usernames:

  1. Go to Office 365. https://portal.office.com
  2. Type in Username: lastnamefirstname@student.stpaulscollege.ie
  3. Type in Password (This is the password that you use to get into school computers) ‌
  4. In Apps menu, click Teams. (email outbox may not work straight away but Teams will)

Remember, there will only be a group in Teams if one of your teachers has set it up.

Edmodo is most teachers main point of communication so if they plan on using Teams they will let you know through the Edmodo account.

If there are any problems please contact itsupport@stpaulscollege.ie
